If your child would like to play miniball in a school team please complete the google form by WEDNESDAY 10 FEBRUARY.
Please read the information below carefully before registering your child to play Miniball.
Miniball Season: Wednesday 17 Febraury - 9 April
Wednesday Year 3/4
Thursday Year 1/2
Friday Year 5/6
Location: YMCA Pembroke Street (Year 1, 2, 3, 4)
YMCA Pembroke Street / Fraser High Shool (Year 5, 6)
Cost: approx $50 depending on team numbers (this includes a loan uniform which must be returned at the end of the season)
Equipment: Sports shoes
Practises: Will be confirmed once coaches and managers have been finalised (these will usually take place at school during a lunch time or before/after school.
School miniball teams are 6-aside and the maximum number of players in a team will be limited to 10.
Children will be placed into teams by the sports coordinator.
In order to enter sports teams we require a coach and manager for each team, this involves running one practise per week and organising the team on playing day.
All coaches/managers must be police vetted.
Teams will be selected according to our Health, P.E. and Sports Policy which can be viewed on the Important Information page on this website. Please make yourself familiar with the conditions of this Policy before putting your child's name forward for a sports team at Hukanui School.
